Depending upon when you walk into A1 Indian Grocery you will witness all three of the mentioned values at work. Family-owned and operated for nearly 30 years, a feat not many small businesses can claim (especially post COVID), this is where you can get a small taste of a portion of traditional Indian spices, ceremonial offerings and vessels, beauty products, fresh vegetables, and a host of other hidden treasures. If you're lucky you might even get a free recipe or two from the owner 😉! Thanks to A1 Indian Grocery, I don't have to go all over town to gather authentic ingredients for my favorite Indian inspired dishes (or order online) any longer 🙏🏾
Been going there for 20 years and like the store. I have been to 2 other Indian stores in the Reno/Sparks area and found them to be really sub-par Their product offerings are varied, good quality and reasonably priced. The best part? The owner. She is simply awesome....very helpful, friendly and always smiling. Highly recommend.
I went there about two weeks ago, the owners were very helpful, when I walked I. The store one of them was busy restocking the merchandise and I was asking for items and she stopped what she was doing and walked me showing me where everything was, also she advised me when and time the new merchandise arrives, everything was fresh and neatly organized. My twin sons loved that we found a place where they had everything we needed and the fact that They made us feel welcome since first time we stepped in their store, I know I made the right decision to come there. Thank you!!!
Nicest owner I’ve ever met! She helped me find what I needed and made some recommendations that helped this dumb American make something that tasted amazing. I couldn’t have done it without her recommendation!
